Edinburgh-based artist Rhona Taylor is working on a project about swimming pools around Scotland, and wants to speak to you about it!
Rhona will be working with Art Walk Projects on a project at Portobello pool next year – come and hear more about it on Sunday July 19th, and get involved! Join her at Portobello Beach in front of the swim centre between 10am and 2pm on Sunday July 19th to chat about Porty and the other pools in the project. There will be traybakes 🍰.
Whether you swim at Portobello swim centre, use another pool in Edinburgh, or maybe swim elsewhere in Scotland or beyond, she’d love to hear your experiences.
Whether it’s memories of a pool, how you use them now, or even some of the challenges you face with using or accessing a pool, she would like to meet you and hear your thoughts. Non-swimmers also very welcome!
