This year has been an exciting time of change at Art Walk Projects, and we are happy to share a few more recent developments:
We’ve moved! We are excited to say that after a community buyout and months of diligent work from Action Porty and their team of volunteers, we have been able to relocate to the old Police Station (@actionstationporty) on Portobello High Street. We are so excited to watch how the community around this building will grow, and to finally have a permanent physical presence in the Portobello community.
We are currently making the transition to charitable status. Art Walk Projects was founded as a community interest company in 2015, but last year we began working to move to SCIO status to better reflect the direction in which the organisation is growing.
We hope to share more about these changes as our activities develop.
