Peter works from his Edinburgh studio, designing and producing a collection of original, contemporary jewellery. His creative curiosity has led him to being a ‘life-long’ maker, applying his skills and imagination to violin making, boat building, furniture design and painting as well as jewellery.
A career in Design Engineering has equipped him with many of the skills he employs in his jewellery studio. He enjoys working with silver, copper, semi-precious stones and enamel to create bracelets, earrings and brooches which are eye-catching and unique. His many years of sailing around the Scottish coast, observing wildlife and searching for agates on remote beaches have provided inspiration for many of his designs. Peter has enjoyed exhibiting at Art Walk Porty on two previous occasions and looks forward to welcoming new and returning visitors again this year.
