Art Walk Weekends is a curated artist-led event comprising a town-wide open exhibition of works across Portobello’s local creative community.
Artists exhibit works in homes, shops, and studios over two weekends. Artists are also welcome to propose works for other community spaces. Submissions are open to local artists as well as those living outwith the immediate area, with two artist awards for selected artists through the Art in Shops strand of the programme.
Art Walk Weekends evolves out of the original Art Walk Porty event (first established in 2015), delivering an annual event focussed on the walkable neighbourhood of Portobello & Joppa’s creative community.
To participate in Art Walk Weekends, submissions are now open until 31 March.
