An installation showing a series of wooden spheres and objects representing juggling balls as a playful response to seaside resort culture as part of this year’s ‘ShowGround’ themed Art Walk Porty Festival.
Kirsty Dalton was born and raised in Perth Scotland and studied her degree in Fine Art at Duncan of Jordanstone in Dundee and graduated in 2015. Since graduating, Dalton has worked both locally and internationally having completed internships with Tin Roof Art Collective in Dundee and VinSpace Art Studios in Vietnam. As well as participating in local and international woodwork demonstrations most recently doing a demonstration in Ireland.
Specialising in woodwork, utilising traditional methods of wood turning, hand carving and pyrography and hand painted finishes, Kirsty regularly exhibits throughout Scotland at galleries and design events.
