Nature and the geological and social history of landscape inform Zoe’s work. She enjoys creating work through drawing, painting and variety of print making techniques, including etching, monoprint, collography and linocut. She creates bold, textural work which considers the constantly evolving, complex nature of the environments we live in and influence, essentially exploring how we have left our mark on the land and how it has shaped us. Recent paintings and prints have focussed on trees and woodlands.
After graduating from Glasgow School of Art with a B.A in Sculpture an Environmental Art, Zoe joined Glasgow Print Studio and was participated in their 50th Anniversary exhibition at Kelvingrove Gallery.
Other recent exhibitions include Holmhead Art and Soul, Glasgow 2021, Art Walk Porty 2017-2022, Pittenweem Arts Festival, Pittenweem, 2016-2019 and Glasgow Print Studios Members’ Christmas Show 2010-2023.
